Propecia Causes Impotence

Propecia is a pill designed to be taken once a day to promote hair growth. The product is designed to reduce DHT, which is a key component in hair loss. Male pattern hair loss is very common and this product is designed to stop hair loss in both the top of the head and the middle front of the head. It is for the treatment of men only, so women and children should not use the product.

The pill blocks the DHT which will not only reduce further hair loss but allow new hair growth to appear. The pill may take as long as three months of being taken before effects are truly seen. During these three months, however, other side effects can be seen.

Propecia’s main side effect from using the product is that it causes impotence. In clinical studies, it has shown that men not only have difficulty in producing an erection, but also a reduced sex drive as well as a decrease in semen. Propecia side effect causes impotence is a significant downside to using a product that is supposed to help with hair loss.

The use of Propecia and its ability to block DHT has been seen to cause other problems. These problems can be neurological, with problems that affect the pituitary gland and other brain hormones. There are also hypogonadal problems, such as impotence and low libido that may be as a result of a lower level of testosterone and a higher level of estrogen. These problems are seen throughout many men who have been using Propecia.

The use of Propecia, often sold under the name Finasteride, can lead to:

  • Impotence
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Reduced Semen
  • Low libido
  • Infertility
  • Decline in Neurosteroids

Symptoms Include:

  • Inability to form an erection
  • Listlessness
  • Fatigue
  • Brain Fog
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

The variety of problems that one can gain from using Propecia outweighs the benefits of being able to stop hair loss. Some of the problems seem irreversible because of the inability to test for certain hormone levels and find out the complete damage caused as a result of blocking the DHT. The neurological and prostate issues that stem from the once a day pill has resulted in a variety of class action lawsuits against the providers of Finasteride and Propecia.

When a drug is taken, it should be to enhance someone’s life, not to ruin it. Men from all over the country have claimed that the drug has ruined their lives. They not only have impotence problems but some are no longer able to father children and other significant problems. The side effects of Propecia are significant and should not be overlooked as something that “just happens.” There are things that can be done if you have experienced the unfortunate side effects of Propecia while trying to promote hair growth.

Anyone who has experienced problems with impotence as a result of using Propecia should consider taking legal action. Propecia lawsuit will allow you to get the settlement you deserve. Hundreds of men have claimed that Propecia has ruined their lives, all from a drug that was supposed to enhance it. If this is something that you have experienced as well, there is legal assistance. A drug is supposed to help you, not hinder you.

Many people have experienced problems even after using Finasteride or Propecia and the medical bills can be expensive. These expenses shouldn’t be your responsibility, which is why looking towards a lawsuit may be the answer to your suffering. Fill out the form for more information and see what can be done.
