The products were distributed to distributors and retail store in: Indianapolis, Colorado, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, California, Tennessee and Georgia.

FDA’s reason for the recall is that children suffered worsening illnesses after being given Multi-Mex Distributor Inc. dietary supplement Amoxilina that parents may have believed was the antibiotic Amoxicillin. The packaging of the dietary supplements mimics antibiotics, readily available in Mexico. This delayed legitimate medical treatment.

“Consumers who have purchased any of the above listed products are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Retail stores and distributors are to return the products to Multi-Mex. See the Press Release for listing of recalled products.”
