Salmonella can cause serious, fatal infections in people with weakened immune systems. In healthy people it can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, or fever. In rare cases it may cause more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis.
The affected product’s lot number is #8147, with expiration date: October 2015.
