The popular footwear Croc clogs have been found to be hazardous when worn on escalators. The most susceptible victims being children.
The combination of Crocs and escalators has produced dozens of injuries around the globe. In one of the most severe cases a child's toes were severed when her croc got caught in an escalator and the trapped foot was 'sucked' down into the escalator steps.
Crocs thus far has chosen not to put a warning label on the shoes and believes the show is not at fault. The company says they're taking escalator safety seriously but it ends there. Experts disagree and suggest a design flaw in the croc itself is what is causing the accidents.
